CLAIRE GREEN ( TEACHER TRAINER ) Claire is passionate about the healing potential of a regular Yin yoga practice and feels gratitude and joy for being able to share this with others. As Claire lives and breathes Yin Yoga she has a special gift of being able to pass this knowledge on to train others to better understand what they are feeling and teach then how to connect with this subtle energy in students also. Claire began her yoga journey completing 500-hour with Gillian Russell, British Wheel of yoga teacher, trainer, and yoga therapist in England in 2005. She continued her yoga studies with Birthlight pre-natal yoga in 2008 and later an advanced yoga training with Ana Forrest in 2009. She furthered her training by completing 500-hour with Maggie Reagh studying yoga therapy, yoga philosophy, chanting, and Ayurveda, co-run with Neil Pearson, a specialist in physical therapy and chronic pain in 2015. |
Kate (Instructor and Reiki Master) Kate has a broad range of experience in various yoga, meditation and healing practices. Originally from the UK, she has travelled and lived abroad intermittently over the past 15 years. Her natural sensitivity for healing began at an early age when her horse experienced a back injury and she found herself intuitively laying her hands on him to relieve the pain. However it was only later in adult life that Kate reconnected with this inner wisdom through the practice of Yoga, meditation and Reiki. After training as a Reiki practitioner in Cambodia, Kate completed her 200 hour Yoga teacher training, 55 hour meditation teacher training and Reiki Master studies on the beautiful island of Koh Phangan, Thailand. Kate’s therapeutic, holistic approach forms the base of her yoga and meditation practice. You will find her teaching combines Eastern philosophies from traditional yogic practices, Buddhism, Taoism and Tantra. As well as teaching a variety of drop-in classes and workshops, Kate also offers Reiki healing treatments here at H2O.Kate’s teaching style is practical, accessible and utterly from the heart. She strives to create a safe, engaging environment where students of all levels feel inspired and cared for, both physically and emotionally. Her greatest desire is to inspire and help others to become the empowered, happy, healthy individuals they wish to be. |
